The Epicure embodies the efficiency and lightness you would find in a Japanese knife and combines that with the quality and safety of German knives, providing you with a knife that sets the standard in function and performance. Forged from one piece of high-alloy X50CrMoV15 steel with an HRC of 58°, this guarantees the highest degree of initial sharpness and edge retention.

Wusthof have redesigned the bolster for the Epicure and the innovative geometry ensures the weight of each Epicure knife is perfectly balanced with the ideal focal point. Every blade within the range has been designed to have a wider shape to give you better control and efficiency. The stunning and unique handle grip is made from natural fibres and resin, resulting in a lovely wood feel that is sturdy, hygienic and manufactured through an emission-free production.

Using the PEtec sharpening process, each knife is measured piece by piece with a laser before grinding and sharpened to the ideal angle of 15°. The Epicure is ideal for both the commercial and the home cook and is suitable for all styles of cooking and chopping tasks.
